We will introduce operate filling interface keyboard in filling preview of FineReport reporting tool<\/span><\/a> in this article.Simple description will be given to some key operations on the Filling BS Interface, taking free filling template as an example.<\/p>\n

1. Overview<\/h3>\n

In FineReport Filling Interface, except button type controls, others can be operated with keys without using mouse, thus saving great information entry time for business personnel.<\/p>\n

Simple description will be given to some key operations on the Filling BS Interface, taking free filling template as an example. In the designer, open template %FR_HOME%\\WebReport\\WEB-INF\\reportlets\\doc\\Form\\FreeForm\\FreeForm.cpt<\/span><\/strong> and click Filling Preview.<\/p>\n

2. Enter edit status<\/h3>\n

For numbers, characters or Chinese characters, directly input value to enter edit status, as shown below:<\/p>\n

3. Cursor movement among controls in Filling Interface<\/h3>\n

enter: <\/strong>confirm and move to next cell;<\/p>\n

tab:<\/strong> move right, and if till the last cell of one row, move to the first cell of next row;<\/p>\n

shift+enter:<\/strong> move to the previous cell; shift+tab: move left;<\/p>\n

delete:<\/strong> select one cell and click delete to clear the cell content.<\/p>\n

Note: In default, enter key is to move the cursor to next row and tab key is to move the cursor to next column. Of course, you may set vice versa in Template > Report Filling Attribute > Filling Quick Setting<\/span> by clicking\"\"icon.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Drop-down box control<\/h3>\n

At first, press the space key to enter editing status. Then click Down key to unfold the menu. Select option through Up\/Down key. Finally, press enter key to confirm option.<\/p>\n

5. Multi-row editing<\/h3>\n

If the control is a text field, you can press ctrl+enter for line feed, i.e., the cursor will move to the next row of the editing row. Effect is as shown below:<\/p>\n
