Switch working directory<\/h3>\n<p>Working directory in <a title=\"FineReport BI and reporting tool report designer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/features\/report-designer\" target=\"_blank\">report designer<\/a> means the project for which the designer works. For example, if there are three report projects A, B and C, you can change the templates under corresponding project by switching these three projects via Switch Working Directory with only one designer (instead of 3).<\/p>\n<p>Select menu <span style=\"color: purple;\">File &gt; Switch Working Directory<\/span> to switch working directory:<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/201671010.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>2. New working directory<\/h3>\n<p>You can directly select the added working directory or click Other to add new working directory, as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/201671011.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.1 Local directory<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To add a local directory, click Add button. Select Local Directory and select the directory path to be added in the right file directory, as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/201671012.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.2 Remote server<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the working directory to be operated is not in local but in the server, you are not required to operate it on the server. As FineReport provides remote design function, you can directly take remote connection via designer.
