{"id":3690,"date":"2016-07-09T03:00:46","date_gmt":"2016-07-08T19:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/?p=3690"},"modified":"2020-08-31T09:22:58","modified_gmt":"2020-08-31T01:22:58","slug":"report-split-column","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/frg.fineres.com\/en\/2016\/07\/09\/report-split-column\/","title":{"rendered":"Three kinds of Report Split Column"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In <a title=\"FineReport BI and reporting tool report designer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/features\/report-designer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">report designer<\/a>, there are three split column ways: No split column, split column in row and split column in column.<\/p>\n<p>Click menu <span style=\"color: purple;\">Template &gt; Report Split Column <\/span> to pop up Report Split Column interface, as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/20167802.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are three split column ways in our Finereport <span style=\"color: blue;\">BI<\/span>: No split column, split column in row and split column in column<\/p>\n<p><strong>No split column<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Input <span style=\"color: purple;\">=range(100) formula<\/span> in the cell to display numbers from 1 to 100.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/20167803.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the case of no split column, data will appear in vertical arrangement, as shown below (only show the first 28 numbers):<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/20167804.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Split column in row<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In split column in row, if split column data goes beyond fixed row, it will be displayed in another column. The setting is similar to split column in row, which will not be repeated again.
