Cell elements in report designer<\/a> include data column, normal text, rich text, formula, chart, picture, slash and sub-report, as shown below:<\/p>\n

1.1 Data column<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click menu Insert > Cell Element > Insert Data Column or right click Cell Element > Insert Data Column to insert the data columns in a template data set.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1.2 Normal text<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click menu Insert > Cell Element > Insert Normal Text<\/span> or right click Cell Element > Insert Normal Text<\/span> to insert a normal text.<\/p>\n

1.3 Rich text<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click menu Insert > Cell Element >Insert Rich Text<\/span> or right click Cell Element>Insert Rich Text<\/span> to insert a rich text. For detailed usage and meanings of rich text, refer to Rich Text<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

1.4 Formula<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click menu Insert > Cell Element > Insert Formula<\/span> or right click Cell Element > Insert Formula<\/span> or click the button in toolbar to pop up Define Formula interface.<\/p>\n

Input formula in the Text Edit box:<\/p>\n

Click OK to insert a formula<\/p>\n

1.5 Chart<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click menu Insert > Cell Element > Insert Chart<\/span> or right click Cell Element > Insert Char<\/span>t or click the button in toolbar to pop up Insert Chart interface.<\/p>\n

Click Complete to insert a chart.<\/p>\n

1.6 Picture<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click menu Insert > Cell Element > Insert Picture<\/span> or right click Cell Element > Insert Picture<\/span> or click the button in toolbar to insert a picture.<\/p>\n

1.7 Slash<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click menu Insert > Cell Element > Insert Slash<\/span> or right click Cell Element > Insert Slash or click the button in toolbar to insert a slash. An interface as shown below will pop up:<\/p>\n
